Mini Friday post
I'm aiming to get up my Italy post later today-- jeez, these vacation posts take a long time to do-- but in the meanwhile, I'll share two fun videos from my inbox this morning.
You may know that little old me and my blogs have been covered first in Baton Rouge's magazine 225, and then last month in the The Advocate newspaper, and earlier this week I was interviewed on the local NPR affiliate, WRKF, about Abandoned Baton Rouge. Well, according to my pal Leslie over in Asheville, it appears that following this media micro-blitz, I've been nominated for president. Now that's just silly. But the bored boys and girls out there should check out the multitalented Leslie's crafty green blog.
In further Internets ridiculousness, Therese pointed me to WFMU's post of this couple, who dedicate their entire married life together to Motley Crue.

if i could have an entire relationship revolve around one metal band i would want that band to be Motorhead. seriously, Lemmy is way cooler than Nikki Sixx.

Apollo, it is a point of pride that I have actually been kissed on the cheek by Lemmy. I didn't tattoo it, though.

The Motley Crue couple was a bit odd. Mandy was obviously very nervous with all her twitching arm movements. I always knew Nikki Sixx was a King! :) Oh, Apollo brings up a good point, Lemmy is pretty f'n cool, too! LOL.
The Kane for President newscast was fantastic!!!! :)
