ABR on the radio

I was on Baton Rouge's NPR affiliate WRKF yesterday morning discussing Abandoned Baton Rouge. Jim Engster interviewed me on his radio program, and you can hear it online here. My segment is toward the final third of the show.

If you're a new reader who found this blog after hearing the show, welcome! I'd like to hear your suggestions for other abandoned sites to cover. Feel free to email me (colleenrkane at gmail .com) or leave them in the comments.

I couldn't find it.

It's all about Louisiana politics.

But that's awesome though!

Nice job on the radio. It sounded like a bunch of calls came in as you ran out of time, too bad. But you didn't sound like you had any problems with microphone freeze.

You don't have much residential stuff, but have you seen the white house on the SE corner of Government and 22nd? I think it was briefly a law office. The windows have been open or knocked out for a while.
